Season Schedule and Rates Assessments for the 2009 water season have been set. You should be seeing your bill in October of 2009. If you do not see your bill by the end of October, please call the office so we can make sure it gets to you.
If either full payment or at least the first half payment is not received by December 20, 2009, account will begin accruing penalties and interest at the rate of a 2% penalty and 1% interest per month until paid in full. If accounts remain delinquent by July 2010, Pioneer is required to file a delinquency listing (a lien) with the Canyon County and Ada County Recorder's offices (as appropriate). To release this lien filing, your account balance must be paid in full. Rates for 2009
Your assessment is made up of both of these. To figure your assessment, multiply your number of acres by the 2009 assessment, then add $20 for the assessment expense. If you have less than one acre, you will be charged a 1-acre minimum assessment per Idaho Code. Please note that assessments have not increased over last year. We are still involved in litigation with the City of Caldwell that has prevented us from lowering assesments; however, we are still working diligently to arrive at a suitable resolution. NOTE: 2010 rates won't be set until August 2010 Schedule Water has been turned into the system for 2010. Each property has an assigned ditchrider. If you experience problems with your irrigation, please call your assigned ditchrider. If you are unsure who your ditchrider is, please call the office at 459-3617 and we can tell you. If you know who your ditchrider is but don't have his phone number, please click on the Contact Us link on the left for a list of phone numbers. Please note: The office does not schedule service calls for the ditchriders. You must call them directly at the phone numbers listed on the Contact Us page. They are out checking on problems and assuring smooth delivery of water most of the day, so if you get their answering service, please leave them a complete message with your name, phone number and the problem and they will call you back. Your water should also be ordered on and off through the ditchrider. The best time to reach them is between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. at night. |
